What is going on in this cover??! DOYS is proving to be one of Oasis' most intriguing cover. What is it all about? The Oasis Fan Guide will take a shot at it!
Thoughts on the cover: I personally think that the cover looks like an Apocalypse Now yard sale.
1. This is a RECORD MACHINE Yet "I wanna Live in my Record Machine" does NOT appear on the track listing. This is not your 1960's record player, this player looks like its bordering on 1930s to 1940s
2. Frontier Graveyard:
I found a photo of a Graveyard in Mexico that looks like this, ingore the old guy! :) Fans have said that graveyard could be referring to the track "To Be Where There's life" an

d possible "I'm Outta Time"
3, 4, 5. Soldiers LOTS OF THEM:#3 is a Samurai Solider, #4 1940s World War II solider #5 1700-1800 "Red Coat" British Soldiers. All the soldiers appear to be in the acts of war, 3 and 4 you can't actually see where they are, but they appear to be in action. #5 are clearly on the attack, maybe they are coming to dig out your soul? The most obvious song to point out would be "Soldier On"
6 & 7 The Butterflies:There are two. In Chinese culture 2 butterflies mean love. But I think the butterflies could stand for metamorphosis, this album from the word on the street is very different, maybe this is a symbol of Oasis emerging from a cocoon? Some of fans have said that #6; the downward butterfly ending toward the "atomic blast" could mean "The Butterfly Effect" and no I do not mean the movie. The butterfly effect is the theory that basically anything can effect anything, the tiniest differences and changes of a butterfly wing can effect things like tornados . I like to think the butterfly moving downward towards the blast represents the little changes anyone can do, can effect the big picture.
8. Face in the cloud:
Its a lawn gnome! LOL
9. Astronaut:
Maybe Oasis is discovering new universes! I am stretching it I know!
10. Bitten Apple:Shot at the Beatles?
11. Price Tags:Supports my Apocalypse Now yard sale theory.
12. Upside Down Waterfall:Reference to the track "The Nature of Reality"? Check out the creepy "rock" next to the waterfall.
13. One Brown Eye:Could this be Gem's ? He is the only member of Oasis with brown eyes. Could this be a reference to the 3rd eye? The third eye is often associated with visions, clairvoyance, precognition, and out-of-body experiences.
14. The Hidden Clock: Many think that this is a reference to Stop the Clocks and that the track will be hidden on the album.
15. Atomic Blast: I feel like this a reference to the sound of the album. If you have ever seen Oasis live you will know what I mean :D
